Cenrtury Farm CG site 23
St. Martins, NB
The fog horn has been really getting a workout lately...as in a ton of fog...so much so that views are limited.
You should be looking at water and the jut of land on the left but....fog has stolen the view. And the rain has caused a bit of water to collect....right where Uncle Steve's outdoor sensor for his thermometer fell to the ground. It appears Uncle Steve might not have gotten that boy scout merit badge for knot tying as his knot didn't hold up that sensor with the wind blowing.
Well, one thing leads to another and it seems a trip to Canadian Tire in St. John was called for to replace the indoor/outdoor thermometer. It's about a 40 minute trip so I definitely had time for a nice long nap!!
Dad had forgotten a grease fitting for the needle that allows him to grease the front drive shaft on the Ram. Canadian Tire didn't have the right size BUT.... the recommendation was to visit the Parts for Trucks shop just up the road. It was an excellent recommendation. Dad handed the clerk his needle requesting a grease fitting and the clerk grabbed the right size, screwed it into his needle, smiled and told Dad, 'Have a nice day!' Wow!! Sure made an impression on Dad!! No loonies, toonies or even paper money exchanged hands.
I was delighted that it wasn't raining and the fog was out over the water which meant I could play ball and get some excercise and playtime in before dinner.
One more day ....a free day....stay a week and the 7th day is free....here at Century Farm. Tomorrow we leave New Brunswick and head into Nova Scotia.
I'm ready to get on the road again.....
I'm Chloe
