Old friends

Momma said we got lucky.  The 80% rain was just an on and off drizzle.  Momma didn't even have to get her rain coat out of the closet!!

I had a fun afternoon.  My friends...well Momma and Dad's friends. as they left my 4 legged friend, Heidi home....came to visit.

Bob and Dad went to school together a LONG, long time ago.

 Bob played inside ball with me while everyone was chatting it up.   That is until the cards came out.  They played Hand and Foot until the guys decided to forfeit.  They were losing badly and it was approaching dinner time.

The campground owner recommended Hubies about 6 miles away in Middleburg. 

As it turned out, Dad said it was a good recommendation.  Everyone had a delicious meal with left overs to bring home.

Tomorrow has a high percentage of rain predicted once again, but if it is like today, we will still be smiling.  It's travel day and packing up in a heavy rain isn't a fun task...so think positive, light rain if it has to rain at all.  Driving in a heavy rain isn't much fun either.

Momma said I will be entering a new state that I have never been to before.  We will have a quick overnight stay in Massachusetts on our way to Maine at a Passport America campground.  

We are getting closer to that Canadian border with every mile we drive.  What a fun summer....
