Mother Nature is being a tease. Here we are in this gorgeous area on the water with 25 foot tide changes and rocky cliffs but Mother Nature has chosen to give us a foggy day hiding some of the view.
And to top that off, the forecast is for rain tomorrow...and the day after....and all week.
This area can be breathtaking when the sun is shining and the views in the distance are clear.
Momma and Dad took me down by the water this morning during low tide.
There was lots of rocky beach this morning but when high tide comes, that area shrinks in size.Momma was picking up rocks to add to her collection.
I got to make a new friend on my way back to our campsite.Too bad we were both on a leash. We could have had a good romp in the grass. We were both ready for it ....but...those doggone campsite rules!!
Uncle Steve and Dad both debugged the front of their rigs.
Dad even washed the windshield on the Ram in the chilly 63 degree, late morning weather. (High today at 65)
After lunch, the fog still was somewhat present but with rain in the forecast, the decision was made to drive the Fundy Bay Trail today. It might have been a bit overcast and the visibility was a bit limited, but it would be better than rain.
I think they still captured some wonderful photos.
The road was full of twists and turns as well as ups and downs. But if you didn't bring your lunch, you could purchase your meal at the the Cook House. Sandwiches with bakery bread and cobbler or shortcake with the season's fresh fruit. The molasses cookie recipe was 150 years old according to the baker.
A couple of deer even graced them with their presence.
