Irvington CG site 7
Menomonie, WI
Today was a day to divide and conquer. The morning brought on a shopping/replenishment trip for the gals while Dad tackled gluing the piece of plastic back onto the shower track to repair it and Robin did some roof inspection and repair. I just supervised and begged with sad eyes for some ball time.
Everyone successfully completed the morning's tasks, except for me, which brought us to the afternoon. Momma had an appointment with a chiropractor while Janice and Pam went to Cady Cheese Store for....cheese and fresh, squeaky curd. After all, this is dairy farm country where cheese, ice cream and custard are plentiful.
As it turned out, the chiropractor is the grandson of Don's second cousin. I thought Don was kidding when he said there are so many relatives that he had to find a wife from New Jersey....but.....???
Missy had to work today so they decided to meet for dinner. She introduced Momma and Dad to Culver's several years ago. They decided it would be a great spot for tonight's dinner. Culver's custard is outstanding ... according to the two-legged. It's all hear say as far as I'm concerned.
Everyone arrived at our site and Dad lit another one of his marvelous campfires.
