Travel day today to a wonderful campground.  We were greeted by a friendly owner who made check in a breeze.  We had reserved our sites on line so all we needed was a friendly, welcoming greeting and a map to our sites.  She had that paperwork all ready for us with the route to our sites all drawn in on the campground map.  

I LOVE my grassy site.  We are on the end

so I have my very own play area on a thick, green, lush, recently mowed front yard.

The rest of the afternoon was spent sitting under our awning and sharing stories.

There really isn't too much in this area but there is a good pizza restaurant in Eagleville so when Janice and Robin went out on their fuel run, they returned with dinner that everyone enjoyed at our picnic table.  Wait, that isn't quite correct.  The two-legged enjoyed the pizza while I looked on wistfully.

I even asked nicely for a slice of my own 

After all, they were done feasting and there were slices left over but....Dad frowned and said no way.  You don't need a relapse.  

At least I got in another game of ball before the sun set.

Earlier today, the owner came by in her golf cart with a bucket of peaches she had just picked.  "Take as many as you can use."  What an unexpected bonus.  I'm thinking there will be peach cobbler, peach muffins and straight up peaches with juice running down to the elbows in someone's future. I can almost assure you that 'someone' won't include ME!
