Being our last day in Cody, Pam wanted to shop for some local items but Dad said he would graciously stay with me so I wouldn't be all alone once again. Well, everyone saw right through that.....at least that is what they thought. But I know deep in his heart, he just wanted to spend some fun time with his 'baby girl'. And the bonus was, I got to have coffee break with Dad that I have been missing all week. Bring on those mini dog treats.
Momma had memories of the deer in the middle of the downtown street the last time she was here. Well, today, that memory was refreshed. There Momma was, right in the middle of town when a deer crossed the road, giving no heed to the crosswalk, to get to the green grass and landscaping that the owner has been carefully watering to maintain.
You can't say the people in Cody have no imagination. Check out this bench made from repurposed items.
So tomorrow we head for 'the chimney' of Idaho - Island Park area where we have friends who decided to relocate from Florida several years ago. It's travel day once again.
