Is that Teddy Roosevelt?

Wait a minute.  You just took off four layers of clothing.  I know it is cold and windy today but your program with brunch this morning was an inside affair.....obviously with little heat in the building.  Maybe that's the way Teddy Roosevelt likes things.  After all, he was the presenter at the program.

Well, he wasn't the real Teddy Roosevelt but Joe Wiegand, who advertises himself as ' the world's best Theodore Roosevelt reprisor. 

The event began with a brunch served buffet style.

Everyone was gathered outside in the chilling morning air, while the 'hostess' organized the entry by table letter.  And she called tables by alphabetical order leaving us in the cold until she got to 'w'.

The only problem was, it was as chilly inside as it was outside.

According to the locals, it had been unusually warm until Monday's rain cooled everything down by about 30 degrees.  This morning it was well into the 40's but tomorrow morning it will only get down to the 50's and by afternoon, it will make it into the 70's.  

Our sites are back-in sites at the edge of the park.

We don't have to worry about neighbors behind us as we are backed up to a steep bank.  Our escort led us to our site riding a bicycle and even assisted in guiding us into our site, very efficiently.  Another worker, who had been mowing, hopped on another bike to led Pam to her site.  No golf carts here.

I like our location as we are very near the grassy area that is ideal for dogs.  I've been giving my ball a workout! A little cold weather doesn't bother me at all.
