Cody goes all out for the fourth of July.  They close off Sheridan Ave for three mornings due to parades.  Wednesday was the kid's parade. Today the street was blocked off until noon. Everyone decided that today would be a good day to go to the Buffalo  Bill Center of the West figuring most people would be attending the parade and the museum shouldn't be crowded.  The trick was to get around the blocked off area to get to the museum which Dad maneuvered nicely.  As it turned out, the museum wasn't busy, so it was a good decision.  

The ticket is good for two days as there are five areas of interest available.  Today they visited the Plains Indian 

  and the William Cody museum sections.

This was quite an impressive use of technology as you entered the William Cody museum.  A talking mirage.

Dinner tonight was at a place recommended by two different locals.  More Burgers and Shakes offer up hand crafted, never frozen burgers.

Pam said their strawberry sundae was delightful as well.

Ahhh  heavenly

Once again, no goodies brought back for ME!  Oh well, at least they gave me my evening dog treat to chew on.
