Cody Trout Farm Ranch site 24
Cody, Wyoming
Today was scheduled as a 'catch up' day. Dad was going to tweak the adjustment on the slide cables to assure good alignment when the slide moves in and out. The gals were going to do some laundry, then hit the grocery store. This afternoon, Momma had a hair appointment. Dad and I planned to visit the dog park, which happily has loads of green lush grass. Lots to accomplish!
Dad checked with the park owner on the best way to get rid of the non-working microwave and you would never guess what happened. He told Dad, "I'll take care of it. I'll only charge you the $5 fee that it costs at the landfill." And just like that he showed up at our site with his ATV, snatched the broken appliance off the Ram's tailgate and took it away. Impressive service that I would call above and beyond.
The gals discovered a pleasant surprise on the way to the grocery store! An arts and craft show was set up in downtown Cody. With a parking space available, the gals decided they were meant to stop and check it out.
Four roads of pop-ups with tables loaded with creative items entertained the gals and the treasures they located made them open their wallets. It is a once a year event where the creators gather to sell their items. Even food trucks were in attendance. The event was held next to the park. Check out this musical center at the park.
Being in Cody, Wyoming...Buffalo Bill territory....one would expect something with a cowboy theme rather than this musical surprise.Cody is a pretty town with a population over 10,000. You can tell the shop and restaurant owners take pride in the area as demonstrated by the great looking storefronts with loads of color.
It was a busy day but everything that was planned was accomplished. Now it's time to play. They were making plans tonight to see some of Cody's sights tomorrow. I'll let you know how tomorrow's activities turn out.
I'm Chloe
