Digby exploration

 July 6, 2023

Dunromin Waterfront CG site D5

Granville Ferry, NS

Momma was tethered to the bathroom today and hoping with some assistance from that Pink Medicine Pepto Bismol she would soon feel better.  Dad was also feeling the after effects of the bad food ordeal and spent most of the day napping.

That meant Aunt Carol and Uncle Steve were on their own for the exploration of Digby and the peninsulas in that area.  We all had to enjoy their day via the pictures they took.

Subway advertising Lobster Sub..but they didn't try it

Ferry from East Ferry to Tiverton

Looking for the whales who come into the bay while on ferry..no luck spotting any

Freeport where you can take another ferry to an island to hop on a whale watching boat....all booked up though

A 'we made it to balancing rock' pic....a mile hike followed by 250 steps on stairs to the rock balancing on another rock.  Of course it was 250 steps and another mile to return to the Jeep.

Pull out area overlooking the fertile Annapolis Basin.

Upon returning to the campground, Aunt Carol spotted this sign on the front of an RV
By the end of the day, Dad was feeling pretty fair so he finally got to enjoy those berries from the Farmers and Traders Market.  Fresh strawberry shortcake.

Yep, I think he's going to survive the dinner disaster sickness.

I'm Chloe
