Dad needed a few items from Walmart and so did Pam so.....Pam programmed her GPS and it guided her to a right turn upon departing the campground.  Hmm...this is a new route to Walmart.  Yep, it was the country backroads route...and the country roads twisted and turned and got narrower and narrower until we dumped out on the main highway and spied Walmart.  Coming back, it was decided to use to the route more frequently traveled.  The wider highways that actually had lines painted on them, unlike those back country paths..oops, I mean roads.  And it only took two turns to get back instead of the numerous turns taken on the earlier route.  It was an adventure touring the local farmlands.  

Momma had checked the weather forecast and today is the last day in the 80's as it is going to chill down a bit with high's only in the 70's coming up.  With the blue sky and sun shining brightly, it was a tailgate tubby afternoon.  Dad hooked the hose to the outside shower, helped me onto the tailgate of the truck and I now have a nice clean, bright, shiny coat.

I really don't mind the tubby as I get a full body massage but I LOVE the drying part.  First I get toweled and then.....a run in the sun.

I run so fast, the breeze dries me in a hurry.

Whew!  I think I'm ready for an afternoon nap.
