Momma was smiling last night.  She finally....after a month of not being able to play any games due to lack of enthusiam by travel-mates...got to play a card game.  Dad's high school buddy and his wife came to dine with us and suggested a game of Swoop after dinner...and everyone played!

I have been giving it some thought and I have decided that Momma picked a great game, Sequence, last month while in Tennessee.  Everyone was ready to play but where she went wrong was winning both rounds.  I told Momma that so she made sure her guests won last night....or at least that's her story as to why she came in next to last place.  

Today they headed to Sand Flats Orchard. 

This orchard not only has apples, but freshly made cider donuts.

The automated machine just needs to be loaded with batter and it takes care of the rest.  The donuts are dropped into the hot oil

then the donuts move along the oil tray as the donut cooks

then the cooked donuts are dumped into the collection pan

 The baker just sits back and watches the creation occur

In addition, they press cider to sell

So Momma and Dad decided to enjoy it all...apples, donuts and cider.

Another delightful day in New York.
