Whew!  I'm tired from just watching the two-legged doing all the maintenance chores.

Rig washed  ✔

Water softener treated ✔        

Slide cables adjusted ✔        

Water hose end repaired ✔

Bread baked ✔

Pumpkin muffins baked ✔

Laundry completed ✔

and they still found some time to enjoy the day.

Momma and Pam decided to head to nearby Canajoharie (the village they grew up in) that now has only one stoplight

and browse in the Village Shop located in the building that was the bank years ago.

Now the building is overflowing with items to purchase.

Momma said she wasn't surprised there was so much inventory displayed as the items were priced higher than she felt they were worth, thus not many items being sold off the shelves.

Now here's a small town feel.  When they stopped at Dygert's Farm Store located out in the country on the farm property, check out was on the honor system....and the cash drawer was full of cash.  Momma was surprised to see something that would have been very common place back in the day of 'respect for others' still occurring in our present times.  No 'camera watching' warning displayed either.  Just trust in neighbors.

Dinner this evening was enjoyed once again with friends and relatives.  They must be getting smarter in their ordering as there was no take home bag tonight.  I was still hoping they would bring something good for me to enjoy.  Oh well, tomorrow brings another opportunity.
