Last day in St. Johnsville

St. Johnsville Marina and CG site 2

St. Johnsville, NY

Hello Fall!!  And hello to craft shows.  Dad said he would pass and he stayed home with me.  Someone had to help me fight off the stink bugs that were attempting to land on our coach and possibly sneak inside.  I guess the warmer temperature has given the stink bugs a second wind, making them active.  Now don't get too excited about the warmer temperatures.  It only means sliding into the low 80's as in 81 degrees.

Don't get too excited about the craft show either.  The United Methodist Church held a craft show in their parking lot in nearby Ames.

As Momma and Pam parked, Pam looked over at the parking lot and said, "Well, we ought to be able to do this in 5 minutes."

But with a couple more than 5 booths to visit, it actually took them 17 minutes ...and they each found a treasure to bring home.  I guess you could call that a successful adventure.

The evening took them to Fat Cats escorted by friends Kathy and Bob

... a hole in the wall restauant where you order at the counter and they deliver the food to you at the table you have decided to sit at.  The two-legged all enjoyed some fish.....huge, hang off the plate, fish filets.
Then they took a ride through the countryside wishing the leaves were showing some color as they looked down into and across the valley.  The goal was to stop in Salmonville at Wimple and Edick...an old house turned into a gift shop/ice cream shop/bakery.  I guess Momma didn't want to get her sticky black raspberry coated fingers on her camera so all she shared with me was her ice cream breath.  I think I would like ice cream if I ever had the chance to join them.  I know I like everything I'm able to snitch off the counter when no one is looking....such as this morning when I pulled off a successful breakfast raid.  It sure is a good thing Momma and Dad don't hold a grudge and they are forgiving.

I'm Chloe
