Belden Hills site L3
Harpursville, NY
What a pleasure to travel without having to watch out for idiots on the road. With little traffic, we just rolled along....occasionally bouncing along when the road was definitely in need of repair like around Elmira. It's really too bad we are too early for fall to make its debut as it would have been the perfect road from which to view the colors.
We have settled into our spot where we will spend the next two nights. L O N G sites with a choice of sewer connections. We carefully positioned our rig with thoughts of a campfire in the evening but with the stiff breeze, we decided it was best to pass on lighting any wood.
Dad made me proud during the afternoon games of corn hole. The gals each gave him a challenge, making him work for his win, but when the last bag was tossed, it was Dad who was declared the winner. Close games didn't deter him from making the final points needed.
I wonder if I can keep score with my ball game. Actually, the score doesn't really matter. I'm a winner just by getting to play!
I'm Chloe
