Labor Day

Momma and Dad began their day visiting the chiropractor that they had been to in years past when in this area.  Momma is still having some SI joint issues and Dad slept wrong and had a gink in his neck.  Many things are closed today....Labor Day....but luckily, Dr. Hall had just returned from Maine on Saturday and decided to see patients on Labor Day.  

The rest of the day they spent with ME!!  I was really hoping to even join them for dinner, sharing their meal.

The chef looks a tad chilly, and rightly so as the high for the day was 72.  

It was great weather for chasing my ball.  I really worked up an appetite, but, alas, all I have been offered is my dog food.  

I'm thinking that our travel plan will work out real well for us.  We will be heading out tomorrow, but the majority of the campers cleared out today. Lots of empty sites here.  So the thoughts are, we shouldn't be caught up in a crush of travelers tomorrow.  Time will tell!! 

 It sure feels like fall here in Ohio.  I'm glad I have my fur coat as it will be in the low 50's by morning.  I guess that means morning coffee will be in front of the fireplace instead of under the awning.  As long as I get my morning cookie bones with Dad's coffee, it doesn't matter to me where it is served up.
