Linwood Harbour CG site 11

Thursday morning we said 'Goodbye' to Aunt Carol and Uncle Steve who are spending one more night in North Sydney at Arm of Gold Campground while we headed to Linwood Harbour Campground and settled into site 11.  Tomorrow, Friday, they will join us on site 12.  Momma has a follow-up appointment with her audiologist in Bedford on Friday.

Upon arrival, the campground was fairly empty and the owner said we could wash our rig as long as we didn't interfere with anyone.  As a matter of fact, now would be a good time as other travelers haven't arrived yet.

So Dad got out his bucket filled with soapy water and the brush on a pole while Momma got out the squeegie.  We sparkle once again.  And we finished just in time before our neighbors arrived, although the sites are far enough apart that we wouldn't have interfered with them anyway. 

The sites are terraced and by the time the steps come out, the ground drops away.  The sites not only come with a picnic table, but also a platform to go on the bottom of the steps.

I think I'm going to enjoy our stay here.  Our neighbor thinks I'm gorgeous and she even tossed my jug for me until my tongue hung so low I was nearly tripping on it as I ran on the cool, lush, grass.  Too bad they are departing tomorrow and heading for the ferry in North Sydney.  

This campground even has free-to-loan DVDs here.  I wonder if Momma will make any popcorn to go along with the movie tonight?  I LOVE popcorn.  I get so excited when I hear it popping in the microwave that it makes me squeal.

I know it's a lovely evening for sitting outside and enjoying the view,

but let's get that movie started and the popcorn popping.
