Catch-up/fix-it day

They declared today "catch-up/fix-it day".  Now if the truth be known, Uncle Steve and Dad were just looking for an opportunity to visit Canadian Tire, while leaving the gals home to catch up on laundry and bread baking.

First they crawled around on the floor of Uncle Steve's rig trying to determine the best way to repair the bench seat.

From Dad's perspective,  they never took the time to properly install the bench seating at the factory.  No problem, a visit to Canadian Tire for supplies and everything is once again ship shape.

Seeing as that project was completed, Aunt Carol asked them to do something with the sink faucet that she wasn't really pleased with.  These RV manufacturers should really get some female input so the owner doesn't have to make improvements on the factory's lousy choices.

I think Aunt Carol will enjoy doing dishes ....at least until the newness of the faucet wears off.  Uncle Steve said she was actually beaming a happy smile when she did the dinner dishes!!

The other task was to change out the battery in the auto-awning retract sensor.

Once all the chores were out of the way, it was time to take advantage of the sunny day.  Time to toss some bean bags for a game of Corn Hole.

They didn't let the day end without a game of Fast Track and of course my nightly goodies from Aunt Carol's pocket.

And did I mention that this is the perfect place to play ball toss?  Even my neighbor tossed my ball for me!!  I think I REALLY like this campground.  If those pesky little black fly nippers would go away and  stop nipping/biting on Momma, I think she would like it here much better. It really is a lovely campground.
