Successful repair - schedule remains unbroken

 June 19, 2025

Ruby Campground site 120

Bryce Canyon, Utah

With neighbors beside us, and an early morning departure planned for this morning, we hitched up last night and had just the power cord to put away today.  Our departure began at 5am which turned into 6am when we crossed the border into Utah.  Arizona doesn't participate in DST but Utah does.

It was an eye catching trip with the sun beginning to rise, enhancing the colors in the scenes as we headed north.

We arrived at the repair shop with time to spare as we had allowed for the possibility of an unexpected incident along the way.
They took the Ram into the shop and quickly changed out the DEF pump.  We were back on the road by 10:30am enjoying the changing countryside views.
Trees are present once again.

As well as farms and hayfields.

As we turned onto Hwy 12 we entered the area referred to as Red Canyon.  There shouldn't be any doubt in anyone's mind as to how they came up with the obvious name.

We slid thru two 13' 6" sandstone tunnels without any issues.

As we entered the campground at Bryce
we were pleased to look at the clock and realize that we had arrived at the same time we would have without the stop for a repair....right back on schedule without missing a beat!  It just doesn't get any better....although Dad said he really could have done without the need for a $2,000+ repair bill.  But it is what it is and it's called 'life' so I told him to smile and get over it.

After all, we are hooking up with Momma's other sister and brother-in-law here in Bryce.  Family time!!
With temperatures back in the comfortable 80's, everyone was smiling as they gathered under the awning to catch up on everyone's news.

So I will leave you today with one final enchanting pic.

I'm Chloe
