Arizona

OK RV Park site Blue-20

Holbrook, AZ

Momma said that this travel day was much more interesting than our last flat land, boring, same old, same old, landscape for miles and miles.  Granted, there were plenty of miles and miles of unsettled land, but the land had 'character'.

Interesting landscapes in both New Mexico and Arizona.

We arrived in what appeared to be earlier than normal because Arizona doesn't 'spring their clock a head one hour' for daylight savings time.  So we actually arrived just after noon today instead of 1pm.

The sites are long enough to fit two campers but they are stagger parked so your awning  opens towards your neighbor's tow vehicle instead of their rig.  That is if you are crazy enough to put out your awning in the wind.  For a while this afternoon, even the toppers over our slides were flapping with the wind.  Glad it finally has calmed a bit.

Momma had visions of tossing the smoked porkchops on the grill, but we would all still be waiting for them to get warm with the wind interference keeping the grill from maintaining any heat.  It was an inside dinner tonight.  Momma had two chops and Aunt Pam had two chops. Two plus two equals four and there are only three two-legged at the table.  I just knew one had my name on it.  The only problem was, no one else knew it had my name on it and it went with the leftovers in the refrigerator.  Don't you feel for me? And they smelled so mouth watering.  Now isn't that a sad tale?

I'm Chloe
