Quebec City Red Bus Tour

 September 2, 2023

Camping Transit site 216

Levis, QC

I'm left home once again while the two-legged took another ferry ride.  This ride was only 12 minutes long as it took them across the St. Lawrence to Quebec City. The campground sold them tickets for the Red Bus Tour and their timing couldn't have been any better.

The ferry was just docking as they entered the terminal and purchased their ferry tickets.  Aunt Carol had just sat down when it was time to board.

Heading for the opposite shore....the shorter way to travel is the ferry,  rather than taking the bridge over and attempting to locate parking.

The gang walked out the ferry terminal door and the Red Bus was at the end of the sidewalk for easy boarding.  Perfect timing!!  Dad's knee appreciated that for sure!!

The bus had open air seating on the top, but that area was full, so they wound up seated inside the lower area.  Each seat had a plug in site for a set of earphones which broadcast an audio presentation as the bus toured the city.  It took a bit to locate the proper channel to listen in English as many languages were available.

Aunt Carol found all the colorful flowers enchanting!

As tourists exited the hop on hop off bus, seats became available on the upper level so the gang moved to the top for a better view of the city.

Artistic Street Lanterns...duck!!

With all the hills in the city, this people mover will take you up without taxing your heart.
Quebec City is a very busy city lots of history.

I'm always delighted when the gang returns.  This is a great campground for outdoor play.  Lots of area with lush grass.
