KOA Montreal South site 114
Montreal, QC
Well, the oil change took place as planned. Uncle Steve arrived without any missed turns and they took him right in when they opened at 7:30. Mission accomplished!
The TV news broadcast kept encouraging everyone to be aware of the extremely warm temperatures ...summer temperatures in September. Some Quebec schools delayed opening for the school year due to the high temperatures and lack of AC in the school buildings.
The two-legged said, "It's only 88" and off they went to the botanical gardens. Wow!! So many plants in one area. The gardens were theme grouped by plants. The Useful Garden had edible items....beans, squash, etc. Other gardens had colorful displays.
Huge, healthy blooms. Larger than your hand sized blooms.
Inside the building were displays of numberous begonia varieties, bromeliads, cactus and the list goes on.
But the ride/drive after departing convinced everyone that downtown Montreal is NOT where they would want to travel daily. It was easy to loose count of how many light changes it took to move one block with only a one car advance at each green light. A time consuming tr I'm Chloe ip for sure. And we had several lights to travel at that snail's pace.
I can happily report that they FINALLY made it thru the traffic and back home....to...to play with me!!
I'm Chloe
