KOA Montreal South site 114
Montreal, QC
Travel day today. We had an eye opener today. Canada celebrates Labour Day. And what exactly did that mean for us? Heavier traffic on the road on this Monday as we headed to our next campground...Montreal KOA South.
We were still able to locate parking spots at the rest area for a break. I really needed that break. You see, I'm not always on the schedule that Momma and Dad would like me to be. I know they were expecting me to fill a poop bag before we departed, but..... And then I got a bit gassy on the ride. When we stopped, I was able to fill the poop bag without any problem. Some days are like that.
We arrived shortly after 1pm and Uncle Steve thought it might be a good idea to locate the service center where he has an early Tuesday appointment for an oil change for the Bay Star. As it turned out, that was a good idea. One of the right turn ramps had a L O N G baricaded entrance ramp that we missed. If you don't get on the other side of the baricade soon enough, you are out of luck taking the exit. Tomorrow he will be looking for that early ramp!
Having located the service center, Uncle Steve decided to take everyone on a tour of downtown Montreal. With it being Labour Day, it was the perfect day for city travel...without congestion.
Driving over the bridge
As everyone tipped back their heads to see the top floor, the guesses were taking place as to how many stories the building housed. And what about a window washer? By the time he would finish the last window, it would be time to begin once again.
Uncle Steve meandered up and down the streets from one section to the next.
They were in the Westmount area and spotted a Dairy Queen sign. That's definitely universal language signage....even though everything is in French.
