Enjoying time with friends in NC

I thought Momma said she needed to get up early this morning so at 5am I nudged her to see if she was ready to get up and play before getting dressed and having some breakfast.  Would you believe she just said, "too early" and rolled over.....totally ignoring me?

Then, when she finally did get up, there wasn't much playtime left in the morning, before she headed out with the gang to the Trash and Treasure Sale at the Union County Farmer's Market facility.

You see, Julie recommended an early arrival in order to have an opportunity at the best treasures available for purchase.

As each member of the gang finished perusing the tables,

they sat down waiting for everyone to shop their fill.  

Then it was on to Alexandra's,

a good sized building with goods ranging from clothing to jewlery, from furniture to bath soaps, from shoes to decor items.  

Friends Tina and Steve from Tennessee arrived just in time for a quick game of Fast Track before heading to Jim's Smokin Que for a bbq feast.  They sure so love that place!!

And of course dinner wouldn't be complete without dessert.  So many flavor choices to choose from.

But from the looks of all the smiles, everyone chose well.

Now with all those opportunities to bring me back some bbq or even a sweet ice cream treat, all I got was a small dog treat.  I mean, crunch, crunch and it was gone.

Of course the day wouldn't be complete without sharing stories while enjoying the comfortable night air

followed by a serious game of Swoop.
