And what did you have for dinner?

Some of the gals decided to take a trip to Mercier's Orchard this morning in nearby Blue Ridge.  Peaches are still available as well as the early apple crop.

The carts might have been empty going into the store, but they certainly weren't empty coming out!

With offerings at the bakery and fudge area as well as the gifts and treasures in the kitchen area, the carts held more than just fruit.

Some of the guys made a trip to Lowes while the gals were away.  

The afternoon consisted of a gab session for the guys sitting under the awning while the gals were inside playing Hand and Foot.  Momma's team held the lead for the first 3 hands but the other team managed to go out while Momma's team was still holding onto the cards in their foot.  In other words, Momma's team lost by just over 1200 points when the final score was tallied.  

Now dinner was an interesting matter.  Half of the group decided to visit Sweet Tooth for a fruit and dairy dinner while the other half decided to dine at home with a more 'traditional' dinner.  Yep, Dad had his banana split dinner served up in a cup while Tina and Tim enjoyed theirs in a boat affair. 

And what did I get, you ask?  My everyday dog bone treat and dog food dinner.  Meals are so much more interesting for the two-legged!!
