Muncie RV Rjourney site 13
Anderson, In
Momma spent some time on-line plotting a route to visit some of the antique shops nearby. Wednesday seems to be a day that several are closed, but there were still enough shops open to take them away from me and my opportunity for ball playing for most of the afternoon.
And then they stumbled on a Culvers that called to them. Yummy sandwiches and creamy custard. Dad said he needed a 'strawberry concrete'. One of his favorites. The shops each had different offerings. Most were a collection of rented booth spaces.
The final stop was at a Country Store with colorful displays.Dad said he wonders if our Florida friends will find it hard to believe that this morning he turned on the fireplace to take off the chill that the outside temp of 58 brought on. Momma said it was a good morning to bake biscuits as the high oven heat would assist in combatting that morning chill. It was another one of those days to reach past the shorts and grab the long pants. My fur coat works just fine for me.
One would have the expectation of having our site mowed and ready for our arival yesterday, but I guess they finally decided the grass had grown high enough to warrant mowing today. Now we are dealing with long mowing clippings. Maybe we would have been better off if they waited one more day before mowing. Long grass is less of a hassle than dealing with the long clippings that latch onto my fur.
Yep, you surmised correctly, we are traveling once again tomorrow....further north into Indiana.
Catch you up the road.
I'm Chloe
