Treats and friends

Gunter Hill CG - site 46

Montgomery, Alabama

Now today was a remarkable day!  I had loads of company and tons of treats!!  The day began with my favorite Aunt Carol along with Uncle Steve arriving for a game of Hand and Foot.  But first came the treats.  Yummy!!  All that moaning and groaning by the guys during the first two hands sounded like there wasn't any chance of the guys catching up with such a low score.  They sure changed their tune as the tide turned during the last two hands.  A close game with only 175 points separating the teams.

There was a visitor at my door.  My Great Dane friend Sue came to visit and play a bit. Momma, you failed to snap a pic!!

And not long after that, my friend Izzy arrived with her Momma.

The afternoon brought the gals my way as they arrived to play Dirty Uno.  Lots of company and treats.  I laid under the table  and enjoyed all the laughter going on above me.

I took a nice nap while everyone headed out to Catfish House for dinner.

The restaurant opens at 4:30 and people were lined up waiting for the doors to open when our gang arrived.  It's a popular place.

With a reservation for 19, the hostess seated us right away.
Momma said she loved her friendly demeanor and her eye catching hat.

The meal was delicious with cole slaw, hush puppies and white beans served family style at the table, giving everyone something to munch on while their main meal was being prepared.

When you look at the long table of diners, it was amazing how efficient the wait staff performed, serving us quickly and graciously.

Doesn't everyone look satisfied as they stopped for a final pose before departing the restaurant?

Everyone was delighted to meet Bob's brother, Jim and his sister, Pam who enjoyed dining with everyone.

The day wrapped up with Dad lighting the fire in preparation for everyone's arrival.
I told Momma that she needed to take me inside and serve me my evening bone treat.  Come on Momma, hustle over here and open the door before everyone arrives. It's way past bone treat time.
I'm Chloe
