Dad had more projects to keep him busy this morning. Something about a water issue in Bill and Michele's rig. The guys dug up enough parts from their supply to get the job done. And then there was the mystery of the battery draw with Jan and Joyce. Dad returned smiling feeling pretty confident that both issues were resolved.
While Dad was attending to the projects, I had some visitors. Louise D and Michele came to see me.....well, to play Five Crowns with Momma. But I got to show them my toys first. Not all of them, but some of today's favorites.
I think Louise liked my long legged/long armed yellow duck. He is so much fun to shake, whipping his long legs and arms.
It was catch up day on laundry, and restocking the hardware supplies for us while some went to the Train Museum. Dad located a really nice, well stocked Ace Hardware store. Then he went on the hunt for DEF for the truck. Walmart didn't have any so it was off to Lowe's who only had the expensive Blue Def left on the shelf. Ouch!! At least the military discount softened the pain of the higher priced item.
Tonight's dinner was entertaining as well as tasty.
Some had dinners served in a frying panWhile some were served on plates.
The food was southern home cooked meals served up with heaping helpings. The helpings were so large that after Momma and Dad had both eaten off the pot roast plate, there was still some left to pack up.

We've been known to go way out of our way for Lambert's. We did the one in Missouri and then drove west and ate at the second one in the same day.
