Momma said Dad needed a good breakfast before he tackled the slide cable replacement.  My Dad is smart and he travels with replacement parts!  After bacon and French Toast, he dug out the ladder and got more exercise than he planned on.....setting up the ladder outside the rig, then inside the rig, then outside again, then inside again.  I'm sure you get the picture.  It would have been much easier with two ladders but.....no one is traveling with us and we only carry one ladder.

Success!!  The cable has been replaced and our slide is no longer compromised.

Dad's reward for a job well done was a trip into Prattville to the AMC Cinema to see Top Gun.  Momma had planned to get a free ticket.  If you eat at Applebees and have a receipt for over $25 you can register that receipt and get a promotion code. What Momma should have done was purchase the tickets before arriving in this area.  She had secured the promo code but our internet connection is so S L O W here that when she went to purchase the tickets on line, it timed out on her with a message of unable to complete.  When she made another attempt, the message said promotion code had already been used.  Arughggrr.  But the senior ticket price was about as much as a gallon of diesel fuel so I guess it wasn't as tragic as it could have been and really not worth any extra time trying to get it sorted.

Momma said their popcorn was delicious and she even brought the refill home.... for me? I asked.   NO WAY! was the response.  Momma doesn't share well when it comes to popcorn.  See if I share my dog treats with her!!
