We have friends who know the best places to visit.  When we stayed at Gunter Hill in March with our camping friends, everyone enjoyed a fantastic dinner at the Catfish House located in Millbrook, about 25 minutes from the campground.

They open at 4:30 (which is really 5:30 for us when on Eastern time) so Dad said they needed to get a move on to be there early.  Well, as it turned out, they arrived just as the crowd arrived.  Waiting for a restaurant is always a good sign of a good meal being served.  It's a good thing they didn't dawdle.

The meal comes with a set up of cole slaw, northern beans and hush puppies.

The trick is to not over indulge on the unlimited supply of those tasty treats so you have room to savor and enjoy the main course.

When Momma texted their friends who introduced them to the super restaurant to thank them for the introduction, the conversation got sidetracked.  It seems my four legged friend Susie was everjoyed

with the return of her two-legged owner who had just gotten out of the hospital.  It seems he needed a stent. Now that he is healthy, they are  ready to get their camper wheels rolling. Maybe we'll see them up the road?????
