My friends came to play today...tossing my ball.  

But I think everyone enjoyed the day as much as I did, when they took a quick trip to Blue Ridge, Ga earlier in the day.

The destination was Mercier Orchards.

As you can see, they have quite a bit of property.  Right now the blueberries and peaches are in season at the orchards.

If you look closely at the Griffin's cart, you'll find more than just blueberries.  So many treats to select from.

Bakery items, jams, salsa, mixes, tea, coffee, fudge, honey, just too many food items to list.  But if you weren't into the fresh produce or products created from the produce, you could also find home items as well...for those looking for non-edible gifts.

The girls decided to try out the Ford that was sitting on the shop floor.

Of course all that shopping (and tractor sitting) had revved up everyone's appetites so they all took advantage of the on-site cafe.  And Mercier's had the appetizer at the table waiting for everyone...cider donut holes.  What a treat! 

 How about a ham and jam panni (that's peach jam of course)

or a panni piled high with turkey ?

Okay guys, can't you read?  It says No Parking!!

I really wish I could have joined the kids for the cart ride back to the vehicles.  What fun!!

But alas, I was left at the campsite, waiting for everyone to come back for a game of ball toss.  That's when MY real fun began!!
