A relaxing day

River's Edge Mountain RV, Murphy, NC

A laid back, carefree day today with lots of playtime for the two-legged as well as ME!  I was glad they didn't load up in the RAM and take off today.  Dad tackled a couple of small maintenance projects, Uncle Steve reorganized and cleaned his bays while Momma joined Aunt Carol, Tina and Steve H in Fast Track under the shade tree.  Of course they had already worn me out with frisbee toss so I rested while I kept an eye on everyone.

Later the corn hole game came out for a few challenging rounds.

We woke up to temperatures in the 50's so Dad had to turn on the fireplace to take off the morning chill.  I'm just glad to have my fur coat.  Sometimes I even lay down in front of the fireplace.  Ahhhh

It cooled down a bit in the evening as well so after a run to Sweet Tooth for the ice cream treats,

Dad lit the fire pit as we watched the sun drop and the lightening bugs begin their nightly display.

This campground provides a firepit at each site so Dad didn't have to unload ours and Tim was thoughtful and shared his forest with us so we would have wood to burn.

It was a nice relaxing day.  All is good here in Murphy, NC.
