Ice Cream Therapy

Do you think all the extra stress that Coram (the company providing the supplies and meds for Dad) has given Momma and Dad is a way of trying to drum up more business......stress relief therapy?

Dad's celebration of no longer being tethered to the antibiotic pump was dampened by not being able to smoothly return the pump.  A box was provided when the pump was received but there was no label on it.  Just a couple of stickers with bar codes.  When Momma called Coram and asked for a label, she was told she didn't need one.  Just take the box to UPS and they will handle it.....WRONG!!!!

When they took the package to the UPS in Murphy, they were told that they were a UPS Access site and we would need to go to either Franklin or Ellijay as they have the software needed. But if we had a label they could take the package.  But Coram wouldn't give us a label and told us we didn't need one. 

All was not lost though as it turned out the Hershey Ice Cream Store is part of the UPS Access Mini Mart Store.  And ice cream is a good way to deflect the let down of not shipping the package....especially when there are a ton of flavors to choose from.  Ice cream= therapy😄

A trip to Ellijay was made today with the first stop being.....the UPS site.  The poor clerk turned the box every which way and said, "there is no label".  Momma told her that the bar code stickers should do the trick.  WRONG!!!  After a phone call once again to Coram and being shifted from one person to another and explaining the issue numerous times, Momma finally secured an emailed label!!  YEAH. 👏👏

But as long as they were in Ellijay, they might as well visit all the downtown shops so they shopped 'til they dropped.

When evening rolled around, they headed back to the Murphy UPS Access site.....next to the many flavors of Hershey ice cream....and celebrated with ice cream (more therapy) as the UPS gal smiled when she saw the label and happily received the package.  

So everyone cross your fingers and say a prayer that the package actually makes it to its destination safely.  Otherwise, we may need additional ice cream therapy.
