Let's play ball

I have to tell you, today was a good day for me.  Our Florida neighbors have property close by in Blairsville, Ga so they joined us for dinner tonight. Dad dug out his grill and tossed some of that meat from M & T on the fire.   No they didn't share a bite with me BUT....I did talk Julie into tossing my ball for me.

And then Julie convinced Tim to help Roger clean up his 'leak'.  It seems his grease gun got a tad warm at sometime and ....well  I helped too.

Can you see Tim coming in from the other side to reach the area in the middle?  It's a good thing this project was tackled long after dinner was finished so Tim could slither in from the other side.  Tim told Dad, now that his bay floor was greased up, everything should slide in easily.  LOL

It seems it was the girls night to shine.  Four games of Fast Track and the girls won 3...but the last two games were a close call  Just when one team thought they had it wrapped up, the other team made a dynamic move and the battle continued to try to be the first to get all the pegs home.

Tomorrow my good friends...well, I guess they are Momma and Dad's good friends as well...will be arriving.  Maybe they'll decide to arrive early.  I'll keep a look out for them.

Their site, right next to us, is empty and ready for their arrival.  Auntie Carol told me to make room in my doghouse as Uncle Steve would be joining me.  You'll have to ask them what happpened (or didn't happen) on June 6th to bring that on.  I'm just hoping Uncle Steve doesn't snore.  For a good sized dog bone, I just might tell the whole story.
