Is your project almost finished Dad?  You sure are making lots more noise putting on the new side boards than you did taking the old boards off.  I think I'll stay inside the house with Momma until that part has been completed.

Did you say tomorrow will be black paint day?  That sounds like a much quieter activity as you finish giving the utility trailer a face lift.

Did you know that Momma traveled vicariously with her camping friends from Huntsville to Demopolis, Alabama today?  She may be separated by a few states, but that doesn't matter.  Unlike the separation that occurred after the lunch stop where everyone enjoyed Louise's chicken salad sandwiches. Momma send a picture of the cookies she had just taken out of the oven.  I'm sure they would have appreciated the real cookies rather than just a picture.

It appears to be a rather cloudy day so maybe that is why 'the shadow' , as Pam is often known as, had trouble following the lead rigs and making the turn onto 20 west.  Ooops👀 Which way did they go?  Time for a U-turn, getting on the ramp and catching up.  

Bob and Reba had sent the 'your sites are empty and ready for you' notification so they rolled on in Foscue Creek Campground well before the posted 4pm arrival time that is typical of Corp of Engineer Parks.

When Momma cancelled our site, Jim and Michelle changed their reserved site to our now vacant site 50 with a nice view of the water and closer to everyone else.  Here's a view of the site through Pam's window.

Reba had suggested a spaghetti night while at Foscue Creek Campground so the group divided up the food items and enjoyed a super, shared meal.

Louise's salad, Michelle's garlic bread, Pam's sauce and meatballs, with Reba's spaghetti pasta as well as dessert.

But the day was far from over.  It was campfire time.

Meanwhile in the Griffin rig, the wheels had been turning today taking Steve and Carol in a southernly direction from Dothan to Ocala, Florida where they will spend two nights.

Greg and Kathy are still in Folkston for one more day enjoying the boardwalk trail out to the observation tower at the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge

Momma censored the snake picture, sorry folks.

Tomorrow they plan to travel home.  I wish they would stop by my house for a game or two of ball or frisbee.
