Dad, maybe you should go check on Momma. After all, it is nearly 9am and she is still in bed. She NEVER stays in bed that late in the morning. I know she hasn't had a solid night of sleep in a while. Maybe she is finally catching up on all that missed sleep?!?
Wow, she FINALLY made an appearance. Dad, I was hoping you would invite me to join you for breakfast seeing as Momma was still in bed but she spoiled that idea for me!
Well, it may have been a laid back morning, but Momma still produced a couple of loads of clean clothes as well as a banana cake with cream cheese frosting. The Wildwood food spread included more bananas than could have possibly been eaten but they ripened into ideal banana cake as well as banana bread baked by Julie and Momma.
The campground owner made a great recommendation of where to secure ice cream. Her favorite ice cream location not only serves ice cream treats, but sells local made honey and has a full service coffee shop as well as a cute boutique.
What a treat😋for the group to enjoy while once again, I was left back at the camper.
As I understand it, it took quite a while to travel the short distance. Something about a train.
A L-O-N-G train was traveling from our right to left and the gates were down with lights flashing protecting the vehicles on the highway from colliding with the train traveling on the tracks. Then the train stopped just clear of the railroad crossing but not far enough up the tracks to open the gates. Some cars and trucks decided they were tired of waiting for the gates to rise so they climbed the curb attempting to cross off to the right....but.....the reason why the long train had stopped was because of a train coming from our left, passing in the other direction. Luckily the black truck in the picture wasn't quite on the tracks and was able to back up out of the way of that second train. Whew! Impatience at the crossing nearly caused a collision.Today came to a close with six gals playing Fast Track inside the Hime rig while the others gathered outside under the awning. Banana cake and banana bread finished off the day.
At least I got to enjoy a few dog treats even though I attempted to help myself to a taste of all that banana goodness.
I'm Chloe

So nice to see everyone!!!
