Momma, there is no need to rush out of bed this morning. It is really 47 degrees out this morning. Dad and I just returned from our morning walk and my paws can verify that it is definitely a chilly morning! But the sun will be shining soon and it will probably warm up at least into the 60's. By the time you head out for your tour of Fendall Hall in Eufaula this afternoon, it should be comfortable for a spring day.
Those are some nice pictures of Fendall Hall, a striking 1860 Italianate Mansion restored to reflect the 1880-1916 period.
Check out the marble floors in the entry hall.
And did you happen to notice the hand painted murals on the wall in the picture above? The chandeliers and ceiling medallions were awesome.
I can't even begin to imagine attempting to clean those lights back in the day when they were lit by oil instead of the modernized version hanging today.

What an interesting tour....and a good looking tour group!
Fendall Hall is located in Eufaula, Alabama which means the group traveled from the campground on Eastern Time to attend a tour on Central Time. Then the group proceeded to Michelle's Restaurant for a 5 o'clock reservation on Eastern Time.
Michelle's offers southern style food with a seafood buffet .... all you can eat.
I'm Chloe
