Summerfield, Florida
Today turned out to be wash day...and I'm not referring to laundry. Pam decided to get the road grime off her rig.
I guess the idea appealed to her neighbor as Jim had his rig sparkling as well in no time.
I'm not sure if Rick got the wash idea from his neighbors or if his morning visitor whispered the wash idea in his ear.

| Good morning 'dash ducks' |
With the cleaning completed, the group decided to visit the spillway.
Even my friend Izzy got to go along today
A gorgeous, scenic area close to the campground
Quite a bit of barge activity today both at night as well as during the day.

Did you gals see that one just pass by?
Shhhh I'm hiding out.....from that big birdWhat do you mean he won't hurt me? Oh, he likes his meals dead. But what about this guy?
or this one?Ahh, so they are made from wood, carved by a previous camp worker.
And another day draws to a close surrounded by Mother Nature's finest at
Meanwhile, Steve had the same washing thoughts today while camped at Southern Springs in Ocala, Florida as he got out his rig cleaning tools to produce a sparkle to his rig and jeep while Carol attended a dance workshop held in Ocala. I think her smile says she really enjoyed herself as she posed with Irish choreographer Gary O'Reilly.
Steve and Carol will travel home on Wednesday. Kathy and Greg arrived home today.
Momma had a rough night with discomfort from her wound. She got lucky when she called the doctor's office for advice on how to survive the following 24 hours until her next appointment the following day. They had a cancellation and told her to come on in. It wasn't a fun visit as both the nurse and doctor made her cry out in pain as they tended to her leg, but by the time she left the office, the pain level had greatly reduced and all is as well as can be expected once again. At the pharmacy, the clerk shared the cost of this latest prescription...$77 for 7 days of tablets. Dad thought that was a tad painful until the clerk found a coupon reducing the price to $28. And so it goes on the slow healing journey. The doctor said there would be many more weekly visits in Momma's future. If the doctor had said that tomorrow on the first day of the month, Momma would have been hoping that was an April Fool's joke.
After settling back in at home, nurse Dad put on another hat as he also had been bitten by the cleaning bug. He attacked the inside of the camper shampooing the carpet areas. Then he looked at me and I thought for sure I could see him deciding if I needed a tubby. Whew! I escaped that experience...for today at least.
