Today is travel day as we relocate to Fort Gaines. The campground is a core of engineer park with arrivals expected at 4pm. Such a late arrival time equates to a laid back morning departure which turned into a breakfast gathering outside our rig. On the menu: pancakes, sausage, blueberry topping and of course maple syrup.

The chefs   Momma had just commented on how green everything looks here in Georgia  when we came upon a road filled with emergency vehicles.  They had just finished putting out a brush fire.  They were just wrapping up so we were directed through the maze of vehicles without any trip interruption. Just check out the view from under our awning as we look out at our surroundingsl |
