Still in Perry

 March 14, 2025

Georgia National Fairgrounds

Lot A Row 11-1

Last night made me quiver and shake.  Loud bangs and booms were in the air as fireworks were displayed.  I REALLY could have done without all that noise!!

I wonder if all those shooting sparkles had any influence on all the fog this morning?  It certainly is a hazy morning.  But that didn't stop anyone from heading to all the action this morning.  Momma joined her friends with front row seating at the Microwave Convection Cooking Demo.  Today's items, all cooked within the short presentation time, consisted of carrot cake, crustless quiche, and chicken breasts

with the audience getting an opportunity to sample the products.
Using the combo setting that uses convection as well as microwave shortens the cooking time but still browns the food which using straight microwave wouldn't do.

A stay in Perry, Ga is the perfect time to eat at Yoder's in nearby Montezuma.

Delicious, lip smacking, home cooked offerings created and served by experienced cooks
that disappeared quickly, quelling the hunger.
Everyone waddled out to the front porch, taking a rest before heading back to the fairgrounds.

These gliders are sure comfortable

After listening to the weatherman all week, we decided that we need to move on before the severe storm hits this area.  In other words, we are departing on Saturday afternoon rather than Sunday morning.

We'll catch you down the road, hopefully with a report of an easy travel day.

I'm Chloe
