I probably could have written this earlier but, you know how every job needs a good supervisor? Well, I figured if I did an outstanding job supervising while Dad washed
and Momma applied the squeegee on the rig and the Ram, I would be rewarded with a game of retrieve the ball until my tongue hangs so low I get it tangled in my paws. The only problem with that theory was Dad was tired and the wash job finished just in time to go across the campground road to the shade of the clubhouse for happy hour. Pooh! And here I thought I had a fool proof plan.
The morning was spent with the caravan gang heading into Milledgeville for a trolley tour that was loaded with history.
Georgia had five different capital cities with Milledgeville being number four. The old capital building is now part of the Military Academy.
Our tour guide and driver did an excellent job
At the conclusion of the trolley tour, most walked the older streets of Milledgeville, some stopping for a bite to eat
while Dad sought out the barber shop for a much needed trim.
I'm happy to report that Dad is as handsome as ever with his stylish cut.
Momma decided he needed a reward/sweet treat before returning to me so they stopped off at Dairy Queen for a blizzard.
The day ended in typical fashion for this group .... with a card game. What began as 11 grew to thirteen players sitting around the tables pushed together for a rowdy game of Dirty Uno.
Dad and I decided it was finally time for our own game of ....yep, you guessed it.... retrieve the ball until my tongue hangs low. What a fun way to end the day!😁
