Game day in Augusta

March 25, 2025

Augusta, GA

Diamond Lake CG-site 22

The weather was perfect for outdoor games.  The first round of Beanbag Baseball began at 11.  It was a slow start that quickly gained momentum by the blue team.  There is a 5 run rule in an inning that had to be followed more than once as the runs began to stack up.  And here they are...that winning blue team.

The rematch was scheduled for 2 but the start was delayed a tad.  Dad went to bleed the brakes on the fifth wheel and discovered that the breakaway wasn't functioning.
Soon Steve came over to see what Dad was up to and when he heard it was a bad breakaway switch,
he graciously offered his spare.

Soon there was lots of assistance/interest

As they waited for the job to be completed before beginning that
afternoon rematch beanbag baseball game.

Each team kept the same players...it was a rematch game...with Jan subbing for Dale.  Want to take a guess as to which team won the afternoon rematch?

If you said the blue team was having a dynamite day, you would be right!

The washer toss/holey board game was brought out.

It's not as easy as you might think to toss those large washers and have them land in the holes on the board.

While one group was playing washer toss/holey board, another group was playing corn hole on the small, portable set.
Yes, the weather was perfect for our outdoor game day.

Tomorrow is travel day and we will be departing this 'strange' site we are in.  We have two sewer connections but one is located on the door side of the rig conveniently located where, if you don't pay close attention, you will trip over it.

You might even fall in due to that large 6 inch pipe.

I'm not sure how anyone would be able to seal that connection when they attach their sewer hose. We don't have anything that will give us a sealed connection.  I guess we'll have sewer smell.

There is also a second power box located on the door side of the rig but only one water connection which also is on the door side.  Yep, that water hose has to run underneath the rig.  Strange set up for sure!!  Always an adventure!

I'm Chloe
