Last day in Brunswick

Coastal Georgia RV Resort site 97

Brunswick, GA

Another great day in Brunswick, Georgia.  At 10am, the first game player arrived at our rig and I hit them with my soulful look which of course scored a couple of dog treats.  By the time the fourth player arrived, I was pretty full so I really didn't mind that the fifth person didn't even give me the time of day.  You see, he was the sub-player....the fill in....as Aunt Pam had enlisted Dad's help with a repair job

that sent her to the hardware store, which left the gals a player short.  But he was the perfect fill-in.  A great player with a strong understanding of the rules and concept of the Fast Track game.  So much so that he led his team to victory...twice!!

The afternoon's activity was a trolley tour of St Simon.  The gang arrived, parked and had time to gather for a group pic down by the water.

Not only did they take a group shot, but they took turns standing under the St Simon Island Pier sign as couples for a cherished memory photo.

The trolley driver and tour guide

offered an excellent, in depth experience of the history of St Simon.

A quick stop was made by one of the many Golden Isles Tree Spirits.

The trolley also stopped for an inside visit at Christ Church .

The tour ended just in time for 3 o'clock 'happy hour' which turned out to be ice cream purchased from a Sweet Shop by the pier.  You can tell that Easter is approaching.  Check out these cute cones.
Dinner was enjoyed at Fish Tails by several dinners.  Louise really enjoyed the shrimp

but Dad said his burger was delicious....so he ate every bite.  So much for my doggie bag!!

Everyone in the caravan has enjoyed this area.  Janet was really impressed by the driftwood beach.

Tomorrow is travel day as everyone will head north to spend a few days in Charleston, South Carolina.

Catch you down the road!

I'm Chloe
