Last Rally Day

FMCA Rally, Perry, Ga

Momma said the rally is drawing to a close and tomorrow we will be joining some more of our Golden Triangle friends in Thomasville, Ga and leaving the sea of 1945 rigs parked at the rally.

Dad said, no trip to this area would be complete without a visit to Yoder's Deitsch Haus Restaruant in nearby Montezuma for some of that good southern cooking by the Mennonites.  

The gang arrived just before the serving line opened which gave everyone time to oooh and aaah over the baked goods for sale.

The food is served cafeteria style.  Does this look like a hungry bunch? 

Everyone must have enjoyed their meal as I didn't even get a sniff of a doggie bag.

The evening entertainment was kicked off with a tribute to our military followed by a donation of $7000 to an organization that provides for homeless vets.

A tribute to John Denver was enjoyed by all.

Now I didn't get to participate in any of today's activities but tomorrow will certainly be a different story for me.  I know where Aunt Carol's doggy bone cupboard is and we will be seeing her in Thomasville.  It won't be long and I'll have a belly full of goodies.  It's easy to wrap someone with such a good heart around my little paw.  

I'm going to enjoy sweet dreams of anticipation tonight.
