It's March Caravan time

 March 13-15, 2023

Georgia National Fairgrounds

Perry, Ga

With new slide toppers and a new awning installed (way to go DAD!!) plus a coat of polish from top to bottom and we are rolling the wheels once again for a March adventure.

First stop was Caine's Creekside CG in Hahira, Ga for quick overnight stay.  The game plan was to fill our fresh water tank and totally drain our gray and black tanks as we will have only power for the following 5 nights while at the FMCA Rally in Perry, Georgia.  Traveling with our neighbors Tim and Julie, we met up with more friends, Dale and Debby.

Tim challenged his sewer hose...how far can I stretch this?...as he was situated on the site in an attempt to remain level.  Did he break a record for his hose?  No, he measured the advertised length.  No awards today!!

The theme is Lucky 13 with an Irish flair for this Rally

so there is loads of green.  We saw this decorated fifth wheel as we arrived.
They even have big green boxes throughout the lots.

That's a Sunbelt generator that is supplying power for RV's.  And talk about LUCK!!  We arrived joining the line of coaches to be parked and found ourselves in the line position to be parked

right next to the big green box!!  Yes, it is a tad noisy, but we have strong power!!  And if you look close at the pic, you'll see Dale and Debby parked right behind us.

Looking down the row, there is no question that this rally is well attended.  We are parked on Lucky Street 13.

We also saw this interesting set up.  These people have way too many toys....

Yes, that's a boat on the top rack complete with boat trailer.

The rally didn't officially kick off until Wednesday so arriving on Tuesday gave us the perfect opportunity to zip over to M & T Meat Market in neighboring Hawkinsville.
It was a tad disappointing that it was so windy out causing Dad to wait a day for grilling our steaks.

But that T bone was cooked to perfection on Wednesday and the bone was picked clean, unfortunately not by me.  They guarded that meat too closely for me to even snatch a lick!

There are many seminars to choose to attend and of course evening entertainment.  The Andrews Brothers provided entertainment on their dueling pianos with loads of audience participation.

The weather has been chilling temps in the 30's rising to 60's during the day.  The azaleas are gorgerous as you can see.

Lots more fun in store for everyone over the next two days.

I'm Chloe
