Ball time at last

Hardridge Creek CG - site 72

Abbieville, Al

It's about time!  I have been pestering Momma to get out my ball.  Now don't get me wrong.  Frisbee and jug can be fun but playing ball is heaven.  We have a LARGE site so Dad has added an extra length of rope to me.  More play area while still staying on my site.  Momma said I wouldn't be able to practice nailing ground balls but I could work on snagging pop flies.  I'm in heaven!!!  I'm one happy girl!!

So to bring everyone up to date, the two legged were chowing down once again.  This time it was a breakfast of Blueberry French Toast and sausage.

After they all cleared out, I got to visit with my friend Sue, the Great Dane.  She may be LARGE but she is so gentle and playful.  I enjoy her company.

Momma had to change one of Dad's appointments.  When she called to say she wanted to change the date of his 7:30 am appointment, the gal thought Momma was nuts.  "We don't have any 7:30 morning appointments.....and then the light went on.  Google had adjusted all the calendar times to central time seeing as we are currently in that time zone.

Central...Eastern...so much confusion!  We are camped in Alabama but we all went to dinner at Michelle's over the state border into Georgetown, Georgia.  We departed at 3:35 to travel 35 minutes for our 5:15 reservation.  Did you follow all that?

Great seafood buffet complete with hush puppies.

It seems that the two-legged like to play ball as well.....actually they use bean bags instead of balls.  That means they don't have to chase the balls .  Today's bean bag baseball game was culminated once again with a photo.  The score was 13 to 7.  Guess which team Dad was on.

Yes, that's him hiding in the back row of the losers.  Win or lose.  It's all still fun and loads of laughs.

I think Dad has become the official fire maker for this group of 11 rigs.  These nice large sites that the corp of engineer campgrounds are famous for sure provide plenty of room for everyone to gather.

I'm Chloe
