We almost had an oops before we headed out this morning as a new icon lit up on Pam's sick truck, but we made the trip without the need for a tow truck.

Our trip was a colorful, uneventful ride.  

We are settled in with a forecast for waking up to a chilly 36 degrees tomorrow morning.  Thank goodness we have a heater and fireplace to combat the morning chill.  Dad has dug out another coat to layer on.  Maybe I should have asked Momma to order me a set of warm booties for my paws.

Pam returned from her truck repair appointment with a bounce in her step and a wide grin on her face.  Success/healed!!  Not only did they quickly locate the leaking connection on one injector, they 'cleaned' the engine as well as the body of her truck.  Finally some knowledgeable service techs and an impressive service manager. 

Looks like we will be making our way to warmer states with healed vehicles.  Tomorrow Momma is planning to firm up our route.
