We all did the happy dance this morning. It was a two-fold affair:
1. to warm up with a bit of exercise
2. to celebrate that it was only 40 degrees, not into the predicted 30's
Dad was the first to crawl out of the warm bed discovering me enjoying a nice warm, cozy spot, with my spotted cow and my fluffy bone this morning, just waiting for someone to toss them and play with me.
It took a while for the sun to bring the outside temperature up to a more comfortable level. It was a good morning for spending time inside, securing a plan for our arrival back into Florida. We have our route mapped out and reservations made. When we pass thru Tennessee, we are planning to see friends Tina and Steve. We will also visit with our Florida neighbors at their Georgia property as they aren't returning to Florida until the end of this month either.
Our last campsite will be in Wildwood, Florida where we will
spend a weekend with our Golden Triangle camping friends. We added an
extra day and have plans to arrive a day early on Wednesday. It is kind
of an insurance policy incase another 'situation' crops up. The club
campout begins on Thursday, but the way our summer trip has been going, we just
might need an extra day to take care of unexpected issues....as we have done
all summer. Now, our thoughts are, if you prepare for it, the need won't
arise and we will smoothly roll in a southern direction without any bumps or
surprises. Fingers crossed.
Tomorrow we will leave our grassy sites
to head into West Virginia. With only 150 miles to travel and a strict arrival time of 3pm, we will be able to wait for the outside temperatures to rise to a more comfortable feeling of warmth before we hitch up.
Momma, this computer is acting strange tonight. Do you think it is just tired or is it the fact that it doesn't really like all this cold? I guess it's time to wrap this up and see if it will indeed post.
