Kalamazoo, Michigan
Yesterday was vintage car day. Today was vintage planes day.
All the restored planes were inside a huge building. There was something for visitors of all ages at the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo. Carnival type rides for the youngsters and plenty of video and written information for the more adult visitors near the restored planes.
And the Air Zoo didn't forget to cover the history of Space Travel.
Momma and Dad made a good choice weather wise. Everything in today's attraction was in one building so the rain showers didn't interfere with their plans at all.
In the site two down from us, two guys were traveling on motorcycles. They pitched small tents that they slept in that kept them dry in the night, but they wrapped them up wet with thoughts of riding between the morning raindrops.
I sure like the way we travel. I'm not sure there would be room for my bed in that tiny tent and I definitely couldn't stretch out and nap on a motorcycle.
