Pumpkin Patch Resort

Okay, so I understood all this eating out and not at home with all the low voltage and power issues at the last three campgrounds, but we are in a 50 amp...no voltage issues resort now.  Something fishy is going on here.  I mean seriously fishy.  As in clam chowder and lobster fishy.  

I saw the menu from Anglers.  And "I" even read the name of the restaurant.  They should have taken me with them.  

You see, they climbed in the truck and headed out the drive.  The first turn was a left and when the road came to a 'Y' Dad asked which way?  Momma said, "I don't have a clue.  I thought you knew the directions."  So they decided to google the restaurant but neither of them could remember the name.  LOL  Now if they had me with them, they wouldn't have had to call the campground office and ask them for the name of that restaurant that had been recommended on the brochure handed out.  I could have been the navigator and maybe even enjoyed some fish myself!!

Our prior campground in New Hampshire was delightful...except for the low voltage issue.

  It was a well laid out family run campground with 28 sites.  The seasonal sites where on the higher tier around the pond leaving the sites closest to the central focal point pond for the transients. 

I really enjoyed the pond.  Yep, I went splish, splash but I stayed on my lead.  I tried to pull Dad in with me, but he wasn't interested in getting his sneakers wet.  But he did sit on the rock with me while we let the sun dry me off. 

 

Not only was there a Camping World in the area, but there was a great restaurant and ice cream shop.  You should have seen Dad's eyes when they brought out his banana split.

  It could have fed a family if he had wanted to share....but he ate every last spoonful all by himself and called it dinner.


So tell me, why are my parents so reluctant about sharing their food with me.  I am willing to share mine.  Just ask Hedge Hog...
